About Apricity
Enhancing health through compassionate nutrition therapy
Apricity means the warmth of the sun in winter — a reflection of the care and compassion that underpins every aspect of our practice. It symbolises hope, healing and the gentle warmth that comes from reconnecting with yourself and your health.

Hello, I’m Rachel
— an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD), Accredited Nutritionist (AN), Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) and the founder of Apricity Nutrition & Wellbeing.
My approach to nutrition is grounded in compassion, inclusivity, respect and evidence-based care. I believe that nourishing your body should be flexible and enjoyable and bring a sense of freedom and balance. Instead of restrictive diets, I use compassionate, evidence-based approaches such as Intuitive Eating, Mindful Eating and Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Health is not defined by size or weight, but by how you feel, function and connect with your body. Through Apricity Nutrition & Wellbeing, I aim to create a supportive space where you feel truly heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful and sustainable changes that align with your values, lifestyle and wellbeing goals.
At Apricity Nutrition & Wellbeing, you’ll find a non-diet, weight-neutral approach to nutrition therapy. This means we focus on your health behaviours, relationship with food, self care and overall wellbeing — rather than weight, numbers or rigid meal plans.
Nutrition care is guided by six core values:
🌈 Inclusivity – welcoming and celebrating all bodies, backgrounds, genders and abilities.
💛 Compassion – offering understanding, empathy and kindness throughout your journey.
🌿 Freedom – helping you move away from food rules toward trust, flexibility and enjoyment.
⚖️ Balance – supporting realistic and sustainable healthful behaviours that nourish body and mind, whilst also giving yourself permission to enjoy the not-so-healthful stuff every now and then. Hello night out with the gals!
🤝 Respect – recognising that you are the expert in your own body, and that collaboration is key.
📚 Evidence - based care – providing nutrition support grounded in current research and best practice.
Sessions are collaborative, trauma-informed and tailored to your unique needs — helping you build a healthy relationship with food and your body, at every stage of life.
Whether you’re seeking support for an eating disorder, managing a chronic condition, navigating hormonal changes, digestive concerns, or rebuilding trust with food and your body, you’ll be met with warmth, respect and professional care every step of the way
